“The Bell is The best representation of Shunata. Where interdependence and the ephemeral ring. When The bell and the stick,The ear and the air are present there is sound… ungraspable. That’s Shunata”

The Bell of Emptiness

A large temple bell is envisioned for Lapis — a resonant symbol of shunyata, or emptiness. When struck, its deep tone will echo through the land, cutting through thought and drawing us back to the present moment.

In many traditions, the bell represents the sound of truth — vast, formless, and beyond concept. It reminds us that all things arise and dissolve within the openness of mind.

This is a future project with no timeline yet — stay tuned.
