Tori Gate

An aspiration — yet to be initiated.

A Tori Gate is envisioned for Lapis — a gate to nowhere, framing empty space and inviting a shift in perception. In its simplicity, it reminds us that the sacred is not always a destination, but a moment of presence.

Traditionally marking the threshold between the ordinary and the sacred, the Tori would serve as an entry into the spirit of practice and reverence at Lapis.

The idea for this project was offered by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche. There is no set timeline yet.
